7 Top Blonde Balayage Colours
What’s more classic than the blonde balayage? Blondes have more fun after all! While the sunkissed blonde look is where the balayage technique rose to fame, we love using this service to create a range of gorgeous blonde shades for every style.
What is a balayage?
A balayage is a French colouring technique that involves sweeping colour across the midlengths and ends of the hair for a natural brightened finish. This can be intensified with foils for a brighter lift or lighter tones. Toner is then added to achieve the desired shade!
1. Creamy Blonde Balayage
We can’t get enough of this classic creamy blonde – one of our most requested shades. It strikes the perfect neutral balance and can look as natural or dramatic as desired. If you’re after something similar to Kim K’s milky blonde shade but prefer a low maintenance look, the creamy blonde balayage is for you. Perfect for our light brown haired beauties.
2. Honey Blonde
This gorgeous honey blonde is the perfect more natural spin on the blonde balayage. Swinging all the way to our most warm toned blonde, this is a deliciously rich and vibrant shade, almost copper or strawberry blonde in tone. Perfect for warming up in the winter of looking like you’ve just been on summer vacation.
3. Ashy Blonde Balayage
Prefer to keep it cool? An ashy blonde balayage is a more natural but still bright shade, ideal for clients with naturally cool toned or dark hair. Due to its cool-neutral tone, this colour can create some gorgeous natural looking contrast in dark hair.
4. Bronde Balayage
Not quite a blonde and not quite brown, bronde is somewhere in between. Usually a neutral or warm toned look, this is a natural blonde, perfect for either a stepping stone into a darker look from bright blonde or for dipping your toe in the blonde pool as a brunette. We love the best of both worlds!
5. Beige Blonde
For a less dramatic and darker creamy blonde look, we recommend a beige-blonde shade. On the more neutral-cool toned side of things, beige blonde is a gorgeous way of adding dimension to naturally dark blonde haired clients.
6. Golden Blonde Balayage
We couldn’t avoid mentioning the classic golden blonde balayage! One of the easiest shades to achieve, the golden blonde balayage is that ideal just-got-back-from-holiday sunkissed tone, perfect for warming up tired complexions.
6. Pearl Blonde
Feeling a bit more adventurous? Try a pearl blonde balayage. This involves lightening the hair to almost platinum blonde and using very faint lilac and pastel pink shades to create that pearlescent hue. A truly showstopping look.
