How do you achieve the Scandi Hairline?
It’s created by sectioning off a small amount of hair around the hairline, and gently lightening about a half an inch section. This is typically done after the main portion of lightning at a balayage or highlights service, and is freehand painted on and only left for 5 minutes. It can then be toned to blend in with the rest of your balayage and/or highlights.

This typically works best for blondes and other lighter hair colours – when you think ‘Scandi hair’ you think blonde. However, this technique can also be used for other hair colours if done carefully to avoid looking too contrasted with the natural hair.
