Here are our tips for detangling hair! There’s nothing worse than a head full of tangled, matted knots. We’ve all been there – especially those of us with long hair – but it doesn’t have to be like this.
Here are our best tips on how to detangle hair:
1.Start from the bottom– start brushing from the bottom of the hair and work your way up to the top.
2.Use the right products– use the correct shampoo and conditioners for your hair. If it’s really knotted, a ‘leave in’ conditioner will soften your hair. Especially dry hair can benefit from the addition of hair oils, which work to soften and moisturize.
3.Right tools– make sure you have the right tools when detangling your hair. An old, spiky comb you found under your bed is probably going to do more harm than good. There are tonnes of specially designed brushes out there that work wonders!
4.One piece at a time– try not to get flustered! Section your hair so that it’s easier to detangle.Focusing on one section at a time is much less stressful than trying to detangle your whole head at once, and it ensures that you’re getting all of the parts of your hair.
5.Keeping trim– give your hair regular trims to keep it in a good condition and to stop the ends from splitting.
