Why we love Clapham

Clapham has quickly become a vibrant area of South London. Divided into four areas; Clapham North, Clapham Old Town, Clapham South and Clapham Junction; it has become one of the most popular places to live in London. With a lush common at the heart of it all, it is filled with bars, cafes and restaurants attracting Londoners from all walks of life.

MUNCH AND BRUNCH

If you enjoy brunch and a steaming cup of coffee visit Brickwood for a breakfast feast and a pastry treat. Enjoy the recycled furniture, workshop light fittings, craft beer and seasonal British cuisine at Dairy. WC Wine & Charcuterie is an underground wine bar in a former public toilet. Enjoy a night out in this 100-year-old ‘water closet’, serving cocktails and meat and cheese boards. If you prefer the pub vibe, visit No 32 The Old Town and enjoy a drink overlooking the common.

BARS AND CLUBS

Clapham is a cornucopia of bars and clubs. If you are a music lover, visit The Grand – one of the most ‘historic and beautiful spaces to party in town’. Experience everything from club nights to live gigs at this legendary location. You can also head down to the popular Venn Street Records for your dose of live music, cocktails and pizza. If you want to put on your dancing shoes and head out for a fun night with your girls, try Infernos. Branded as ‘the most fun you will have south of the river’, it’s one of those places you must say that you been at least once in your life. Love it or hate it!

ATTRACTIONS

The Common is one of the largest open spaces in the city. Stroll with family, friends or your pooch through the scenic grounds. During the summer, the common is filled with picnickers, friendly football games and sunbathers.
If you are into festivals, we suggest SW4 – South West Four! The Common is transformed, with festival goers spending the August bank holiday dancing to electronic and dance music.
